At the dawn of a new day and at its end, the skies are colored in a variety of colors.
Each day it's different, unique, and eye-blinding, and every second they change even more.
Even among all the amazing sunsets and sunrises, there are always really exceptional ones.
Those that leave your mouth open with wonder and your eyes crave for more.
I love photographing the Dead Sea (though you will never see me inside it unless I was dragged inside by a tractor). It has something very peaceful, calm, it's just too bad I can't sit on the beach (the thought of the saltiness, minerals, and oils that wash to the shore and the possibility of me accidently touching them kills me) and so photography is the perfect solution for me!
I take pictures while standing up, and watch the outcome at home with the air-con on. A winning combo!
Even before I started photographing, nature had a really special spot in my heart. I would go out on trips with my family, be it to the north or to the south, to see the beauty and wonders of nature. It's just too bad that usually, this beauty lasts only for a while.
Every person has a moment in life he wished time would just freeze, and for me, nature photography is making that wish come true.
With my camera, I capture the magical moment in front of me and freeze it, so I'll be able to see it again and again afterwards, and share it with others.
In our eyes, a drop falling is simply a drop, falling down and hitting the surface below, but what really happens is way more than that.
Two drops clashing together, a single drop hitting the surface and then bouncing back up, drop reflections - you can't usually see these, but with the right timing and the right equipment you can catch just that.
Even though my passion for photography is mainly for nature, I find photographing people and portraits quite fascinating as well.
The nature can tell stories no person has ever heard, but human portraits can tell other tales. Be it a story about a tribe in Africa or a story about the life of the man you meet on the street, I want to try and capture those tales and give them form.
And as people always say, one picture can tell more than thousand words, those words are the stories behind it.
To bring the darkness and light into balance, combining them both into one picture, that's normally impossible because if you try to capture the shade, the light will be too bright and if you try to catch the light, the shade will be too dark.
But with HDR, you can increase the dynamic range, uniting the light and the dark to create a balanced picture, one that shows all the details without fail, getting a more realistic and vivid image.
